Philips is about to release a lot of new portable multimedia players in its GoGear series:

GoGear SA3025/3045: 2GB or 4GB, 1.5-inch display, 11fps video playback, and 10 hours of battery life for music. $59/$79.

GoGear SA3225/3245: 2GB or 4GB, 1.8-inch display, 15fps video, 20 hours of battery life for audio and 5 for video. $69/$129.

GoGear SA5245/5285: 4GB or 8GB, 2.8-inch display, 30fps video, 25-hour battery for audio and 5 for video, also available in a Bluetooth-enabled version for wireless listening.

GoGear SA6145/6185: 4GB or 8GB, 3.5-inch display, 30fps video, 16 hours for audio and 4 for video, $149/$169.

GoGear SA6545/6585: 4GB or 8GB, 4-inch 16:9 display, 30fps video, 16 hours for audio and 8 for video. The 6585 also has video-recording capability and TV output. $179/$199.

All of them have FM tuners and voice recorders. They support MP3 and WMA, while the GoGear 5245 and 6585 also play the AAC. All excepted the 3xxx series do protected WMA and protected WMV, and they all do regular WMV. These products will be available in the first quarter of this year except the 6145/6185, which is available now.

The new Creative's ZEN Stone Plus has a powered built-in speaker, now you can share your music out loud at the touch of a button. This micro boombox still owns a rouned OLED display (128 x 128 pixels) and FM tuner with 32 presets. It supports AAC, MP3 and WMA audio formats for up to 20 hours of continuous playback.

Available in pre-order at $60, the 2GB ZEN Stone Plus has a choice of four finishes (black, blue, white and pink) and comes packaged with a silicone case, also a 4GB model is in plan.

The Creative's MuVo T200 is an upgrade of the T100 with a small color screen (128 x 32 pixels). Like the original, the T200 features a built-in USB Plug and improves by adding an FM tuner and Voice recorder function. This player reads MP3, WMA and WMA (DRM9) and it's equipped with a rechargeable embedded Li-ion battery up to 9hrs audio playtime.

The T200 will come in a choice between 2 and 4GB capacities, at $59 and $79US respectively.

The Memorex iWake Up Clock Radio is made for the iPhone and iPod/touch. This docking station is a radio alarm clock that allows you to wake up to your music, or if you want you can choose the AM/FM function.

The iWake Up Clock Radio is available in black and white and it features a white backlit LCD display, snooze function, wireless remote and universal dock with the ability to power and charge all iPod devices. It will be available this Spring at $70.

The Koss KEB/20 and KEB/24 are lightweight with an in-the-ear design for deep bass and listening to music on the go. The series feature a dynamic element that is positioned just outside the ear for extended frequency response of 15-20,000Hz.

These earphones are available in a variety of colors to compliment today's portable MP3 players and include three silicone ear cushions to enhance sound isolation. The KEB/20 is available in a variety of colors to compliment today's portable MP3 players. Built to last, the $20 KEB/20 and $25 KEB/24 are covered under the Koss' "No-Questions-Asked" lifetime warranty.

Philips' claims that its new SHB9000 headset delivers the best-ever music and conversation quality from mobile phones, I'm not sure though... However if it doesn't sound good, it looks good.

Equipped with a pair of 40mm neodymium speakers, these headphones use the latest digital technologies such as dynamically enhancing treble, stereo effects and native MP3 decoding. The wireless headset delivers enhanced call quality through a digital signal processor that automatically adjusts volume in response to outside noise and filters out background noise and echo. Furthermore the SHB9000 incorporates Philips' SwitchStream allowing listeners to automatically move between music and incoming calls. It will cost approximately $100 and will be available this spring.

Shaped like a flat Playstation 3 the new Iluv i1255 is basically a DVD player with an iPod dock slapped on top. It plays DVD, VCD, MP3 CD, Audio CD, JPEG CD, and Kodak Picture CD and the dock also features a Video output and a remote control with on-screen display function.

The Iluv 1255 is compatible with iPod touch, iPod classic (80GB, 160GB), iPod Nano 3rd Gen, and iPod with video (30GB, 60GB, 80GB) and it's expected to come in March.

The sleek and stylish, XIAS PV-4022 MP3 Player with video capability will easily slip into a pocket for on the go entertainment. It offers 4GB of internal flash memory storage and will hold up to 1,000 songs. The XIAS player is compatible with WMA or MP3 audio files and features an intuitive icon-driven menu. The PV-4022 has a 2.2" LCD screen for navigation, browsing photos or watching video and it also included an FM radio tuner and FM voice recording capabilities.

The XIAS PV-4022 MP3 Player with Video Playback has an estimated retail price of $109.99 and will be available for shipping in the first quarter of 2008.

Motorola is experimenting the DVB-H technology with a portable mobile TV player on-the-go. Their new Mobile TV DH01 to be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week, is a pocket-sized media player with live TV, DVR-like feature and Video-On-demand capability backed by a 4.3 inch WQVGA widescreen supports up to 16 million colors.

The DH01 can receiver over-the-air digital broadcasting with DVB-H broadcasting technology. Moreover, a buffer function has been added that lets users pause live TV for up to five minutes and Motorola has equipped the DH01 with a battery supporting four hours of playback. It also supports SD slot as storage to playback recorded TV show, music, photos or other compatible media formats file up to 90 minutes of video.

The E900T is a multi-functional portable media player made from the Korean of Maxian. Powered by the Windows CE platform, it supports the playback of any audio file including the best known such as WMA, AAC, MP3, and OGG and video file, WMV, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DiVX/XviD and H.264 formats.

This PMP is equipped with a 4.3" TFT touch screen that boasts a 800x480 resolution along with interface buttons on each side. It comes in two versions, 30GB and 60GB and even if you don't have enough storage space the E900T holds a SD/MMC card slot. It loads a 4000mAh Li-Ion battery.

At home, Maxian E900T can connect to your home theater system through RCA outputs, pushing out 720p high-def video, accompanied by Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound. In the car, the E900T slides into an optional windshield antenna/dock (NK900) to enable robust GPS navigation capability and there is also a DMB television receiver.
