Successor model of the SV SD850N, the new Panasonic SV-SD870N is a digital audio player with noise-cancelling headphones up to 83% which achieves 100h of continuous playback, thanks to its external memory. Instead of using built-in memory the SV-SD870N comes with a 1GB SD card, it supports MP3/WMA/AAC audio codecs, has touch sensitive controls along with an OLED display. it weighs 40g, measures 35x 90x 11.4mm and will cost about $200.

Energy Sistem has released a new digital audio player, the Inngenio 6000. It incorporates a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory expandable via a microSD memory card slot, FM radio tuner, voice recorder, built-in speaker, an e-book reader and games along with support for MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, BMP and Xvid playback. The Inngenio 6000 measures 91x 52x 9mm, weighs approximately 90g and is available in Spain for 89.90€.

Amazon listed by mistake the new SanDisk's MP3 player, called Sansa Fuze, this player appears to be designed as an iPod Nano competitor. From what Amazon has shown on its product page, the Sansa Fuze has a 1.9" LCD screen, a microSDHC slot, an FM radio tuner, voice recorder, support for MP3, WMA, and MPEG-4 files, and offers up to 24 hours of continuous playback in audio mode while it offers 5 hours in video mode.

Available in red, black, and pink colors, the SanDisk Sansa Fuze was priced on Amazon at $99 with 4GB of memory.

Evergreen Japan, has just announced the arrival of their new aluminium in-ear earphones, perfect to match the color of your iPod. Available in five colors at only $9.00, the ND-T50 headphones weigh 14g and work on a bandwidth of 20Hz - 22kHz @ 16Ω and can handle 20mW of power.

Coby unveiled at the Cebit 08, the MP735 portable media player. This could be a potential competitor for the Samsung YP-S5 because the MP735 incorporates, hidden right behind the player, swiveling-type stereo speakers. Also it has a 1.66-inch display and touch-sensitive controls and it includes a FM tuner, voice recorder, video and photo capabilities.

Price will be about $120 for the 4GB model.

MPIO will release soon the V10 media player featuring a brushed aluminium enclosure, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display (480× 272px) and 8GB of internal memory expandable with a SD-card slot. Other features include a built-in FM tuner and a TV output. The player is running Windows CE 5.0 Core and plays back just about anything including AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, DAT, DivX, VOB, TS, and MPEG video files as well as MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, and PCM audio files.

No price or release date have been published at the moment.

Teclast officially announced its latest M25 PMP in China. It boasts the famous Wolfson WM8987 and Rockchips 2706 chips, a QVGA 2.4-inch LCD screen (320x 240), AVI, RM, RMVB video support along with MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, AAC audio and it offers a built-in FM tuner. The Teclast's player is pretty small, it measures only 87× 47x 7.9mm and features a new "iPod-alike" rotary knob.

The M25 will be available in 2GB, 4Gb and 8GB capacities in black or white finish for a price below 100 dollars.

Due to the lack of internal mic on the iPod, Logitech offers another solution for people who wants quality audio recording. The LIC-iREC0 is compatible with all generations of iPod, it has built-in stereo microphone and an additional mini-USB port allowing you to charge your iPod while in use.

Technaxx has introduced the TouchMe, a new PMP that boasts a large 2.8-inch display (240 x 320 pixel) with touch-screen capability. The player has a Micro SD-card slot, an USB 2.0 interface and it supports a wide range of formats including MPEG-4, MP3, WMA, WAV, MP1, MP2, JPG and BMP.

The Technaxx TouchMe weighs 37g and will be available in seven colors (orange, blue, light-green, black, pink, red, silver). Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing and availability yet.

Onda unveiled the specifications of the VX757, its latest MP4 players. Whitin in a compact, sleek housing, the VX757 features a 3-inch 16:10 widescreen display (400x 240px) with the support of AVI/MOV/ASF/MP4/WMV/RM/RMVB/3GP/MPG video formats, MP3/WMA audio, but also APE and FLAC lossless compression music format. No details on the memory storage, but the VX757 includes a mini SD card slot up to 32Gb card.
