Honlai unveiled at the last computex show, the QingBar MP101 which combines a video projector, embedded stereo speakers and a docking station for playing and recharging iPod, iPod touch or iPhone. Measuring at just 76x 102x 54mm, this compact projector has a 10-15 lumens LED lamp and projects images up to 640x 480px resolution with a 200:1 contrast. No info on pricing or availability so far.

Motorola has launched its new ROKR EQ series of Bluetooth speakers that includes the EQ3, EQ5 and EQ7 models that are fully compatible with Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, Samsung and of course Motorola products. The MOTOROKR EQ3 compact folding speaker is described as a fun and affordable (although pricing not available) speaker you plug in that allows you to enjoy music anywhere. Lightweight and battery operated the speakers fold-away while you're on the move and come with an extension to the standard audio cable for improved FM radio reception. The MOTOROKR EQ5 and EQ7 are Motorola's first wireless speakers for both music and speakerphone calls. Both models include 3.5mm jack and A2DP Bluetooth technology to connect with any digital audio players, computers or mobile phones, and offer integrated controls to switch between music and phone calls at the touch of a button. With both the EQ5 and the EQ7, music automatically pauses for incoming calls, with echo and noise cancellation claiming to keeping you sounding crystal clear. The EQ5 gives you rechargeable stereo surround sound, SRS WOW HD audio technology and the speaker's design integrates a kickstand. The MOTOROKR EQ7 wireless hi-fi stereo speaker features audio tech from JBL and - depending on the spec of what you're pairing it with - can offer a wireless range of up to 100 metres and can be powered by either a plug-in adapter or batteries.

Like its predecessor, the E010 series, the new Sony's NWD-E020F series of basic MP3 players will be released in US early this month. Due to be priced at $69 and $79 for the 1GB and 2GB models respectively, the NWD-E020F player has swappable faceplates which will cost around $15 each. And, for US market Sony has dropped the "drag-and-drop" solution for the transfer of files to the device in favor of its SonicStage software.

Another FM transmitter that plugs into your car’s cigarette lighter, this one from Green House, called the GH-FTC-35GP, is shaped like a gear knob. This FM transmitter features LED digit display, USB connector which can recharge your digital audio player and two buttons to select a frequency from 76MHz to 90MHz. That's a good news for the iRiver fans because the iRiver's Spinn will be released in the UK in August. The player will comes in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities and with a DAB tuner (only in UK) the UK, as well as Bluetooth. It will be one of the first player on the market to boast a large AMOLED display (3.2-inch at 480x 272 resolution). There is also a 3D acceleration processor and support of Adobe Flash video. Other standard features include MP3, OGG, WMA, MPEG-4 and WMV files support, 25h of battery life in audio mode and 5h in video mode. No info on the price yet.

Bigbeam will be releasing in Korea the Ken I portable multimedia player with a price tag under $100. The player has a 3-inch wide LCD display (400x 240px), SD card slot, voice recorder and supports a variety of audio formats such as MP3, WMA, FLAC and APE as well as AVI, DivX and Xvid video formats. The 4GB model is priced at 79,000 KRW (Korean Won) while the 8GB model retails for 99,000 KRW.
