Landport has proudly announced the first solar-powered speakers in Japan. Measuring 19.5cm x 11.2cm x 5cm and weighing 290gr, this eco-friendly speakers has stereo speakers powered by a 2W x2ch amplifier, a built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 8-hour of continuous music playback, and no need to worry about the cloudy days as they also feature a USB terminal. You can connect this speaker to any iPod or MP3 player via the stereo input jack.

The Landport Solar-powered speaker will be shipping in March 2010 for 5,250 Yen (about $58).
