The i-Bird II is the new docking station from Princeton compatible with iPod Touch and iPhone. The station features a 2.1-ch audio system (2x2W + 3W), an alarm clock, an FM tuner with 6 presets, and a remote control.

The system is available in Japan in black (PSP-MSSBC2B) or white (PSP-MSSBC2W) color.

iLuv has announced its latest docking station for iPod/iPhone, the iMM178 Vibe Plus. The device comes equipped with built-in stereo speakers and provides a battery life of up to 2.5-hour. Designed for low and no light conditions, the Sparkz Dock Projector produces a 640 x 480 pixel resolution and 15 Lumens of brightness.

Roth Audio has just announced their new wireless-capable CHARLiE desktop speaker systems aim to put an end to this sorry state of audio affairs. Available in two strains – a 2.0 set-up and a 2.1 system – the packages bring power and polish to proceedings.

The 2.0 is a two speaker set-up, while the 2.1 adds a subwoofer. Both systems come complete with the RothDock meaning – thanks to the wireless receiver built into the base of the CHARLiE speaker – a wire-free connection between your docked iPhone or iPod. The RothDock is also officially both a 'Made for iPod' and 'Works with iPhone' certified product, so there is no need to adjust your iPhone's settings to 'airplane mode'.

The CHARLiE 2.0 employs an active monitor design, with a speaker cabinet-enclosed amplifier capable of 15 watts per channel. Its big brother, the CHARLiE 2.1 houses the electronics within the chassis of it curvaceous subwoofer, resulting in 25 watts to drive each speaker – plus a further 25 watts to power the sub itself.

Connectivity perfectly suits today's audio libraries. Each system includes a 3.5mm auxiliary input, while the USB socket enables connection to a wide range of computer products and includes iTunes synchronization ability.

Roth AV has already received many commendations for its range's visual appeal and the two CHARLiEs maintain the family's good looks. Available in black or white the curved speaker design pitches perfectly on desk and table tops, while the cylindrical subwoofer is a rare thing in the world of bass engines, in that it looks pretty so doesn't require hiding behind a sofa.

The Roth Audio CHARLiE 2.0 and CHARLiE 2.1 launch in April 2010 and have approximate suggested retail prices of £199 and £299 respectively.

In Barcelona, Philips has announced a new iPod Dock, the Fidelio DS9000. It's a premium product with a premium price, combining wood, metal, and fabric into a rather delightful enclosure. That's useless, though, if it doesn't sound good.

But Philips reckons that it does, thanks to audiophile-quality drivers, isolated acoustic chambers for each speaker with 12mm thick walls, bass management technology and PureDigital sound processing. There's a passive crossover design, and each channel combines a midrange driver and a tweeter.

It'll pump out 100W of power, and control is via a backlit control panel that activates via a proximity sensor. There's also a remote control, if you prefer to stay on the sofa. It'll dock any iPhone or iPod, and there's a dedicated app available on the App Store which provides extra functionality.

No word on pricing or availability unfortunately, but as soon as we hear from the company, we'll let you know.

Sonoro is well known for their trendy high quality audio products, so why not add to to the already popular Cubo line and introduce a new Cubo called "Cubo 2010" as well as an eDock. What's difference from the original Cubo? Well there are new colors, iPod, iPod iTouch and iPhone docking and RF remote control. Amazon has started selling Philips' latest portable speaker dock for your iPod or iPhone. Priced at $99.95, the Philips SBD7500 adopts the the built in wOOx bass radiator and dynamic bass boost technology to produce high quality sound. Designed for travel, the speaker dock also features a scratch resistant housing to make it more durable. Other features include a 6-Ohm impedance, a 10-Watt RMS power rating and an 80dB of sensitivity.

Well it seems that Japanese manufacturers only have iPod related goodies for us today, and even if the TSX-80 from Yamaha is not really new and was already announced last November 2009, the TSX-80, a Simple Radio Alarm clock with an iPod Dock, and its 2.1 Speakers (2×4W + 8W) features now 2 new colors with Purple and Ivory.

These new colors will be available across Japan middle of March at around 25000 Yen.

Teac's SR-3L is an all-in-one sound system that is ideal for use in the living room. The gadget comes equipped with an iPod/iPhone dock, a CD player, an AM/FM tuner with alarm clock, a couple of 5-watt speakers and a USB port allowing you to play both MP3 and WMA files from your USB flash drive.

The Teac SR-3L will be released in Japan on March 1st, 2010 for 20,000 Yen ($220).

Once in a while, we come across a device that is so zany, it needs to be seen in order to be believed. Case in point - the My Pet Speaker from Pet Acoustics. This omni-directional sound system comes with a 4" driver coupled with reduced bass levels and the ability to "disburse music in 360 degrees recreating how animals hear in nature."
