A new company called MUNITIO is going to introduce the Teknines Nine Millimeter Earphones this month. Limited to 500 units, these exclusive, eagle-etched earbuds are shaped like bullets and plated in 18k yellow gold, feature:

- Machined copper alloy housing, plated in 18k gold providing unmatched sound purity, natural noise cancellation and durability

The Teknines earphones are compatible with most of your usual audio equipment using a 3.5mm jack and retail for $250. A titanium version of the Nine Millimeter Earphones is planned for August.

V-MODA has announced the launch of their first headphones, the Crossfade LP. Available in white, chrome, and gunmetal black, these headphones features patent-pending 50mm Dual-Diaphragm High-Definition Drivers delivering multiple driver sound with the efficiency of a single driver, memory foam ear cushions, and a lightweight metal body (260g).

JVC (aka Victor) has released in Japan two models of in-ear headphones, the HA-FXC71 and HA-FXC51, priced at 6000 yen and 4000 yen, respectively. Featuring a stainless steel housing, both models include a micro-HD driver unit that is placed in the ear canal, and come with 3 sets of eartips (S,M,L).

Monster has announced the availability of the Diddybeats in-ear headphones in black, white, and pink colors for $179. The earbuds includes a free track from Diddy's latest album, Last Train to Paris.

There is no word about the audio specs, but the Diddybeats are made from high-tech aluminum, wrapped with the look and feel of leather and polished endcaps. The Diddybeats include the Monster ControlTalk headphone cable, which can be used with iPhone and iPod for music playback control as well as to take hands-free calls.

They come in an exclusive Sean John-inspired travel case and with an assortment of eartips to ensure maximum comfort and fit for every wearer.

Pioneer Japan has unveiled three in-ear headphones for ladies, the SE-CL33-EL "Elegant", SE-CL33-SW "Sweet" and SE-CL33-CU "Cute". Each model is similar except for the design, they come with different patterns printed. To fit perfectly the women's ears, 3 different sized eartips are included (M, S, XS).

Pioneer's new headphones will be available in Japan as of mid-June for 3, 100 yen each.

German manufacturer of high-quality audio product Beyerdynamic has announced its T50p on-ear headphones. Specially configured for the reproduction of sound from MP3 players, the T50p is equipped with efficient drivers with low impedance to provide exquisitely precise and detail-rich sound. Made of satin finish stainless steel and aluminum construction, the headphones are also easy to carry with its rotating ear cups and the included tough nylon case.

Sony copies Skullcandy with their latest colorful headphones, the Giiq. Featuring 30mm drivers with neodymium magnets, the Giiq delivers a crystal clear, robust sound. These headphones also feature a cush headband, soft ear pads, and a slick skinned cord with a splash of color.

Denon has introduced six headphones, the new AH-NC800 (SRP: TBD, August) noise-canceling headphones, as well as the over-ear Models AH-D1100 (SRP: $199, Sept.), AH-D510R (SRP:$99, August), AH-D310R (SRP: $69, August), and the in-ear Models AH-C560R (SRP: $99, June), AH-C260R (SRP: $49, June).

Four models (AH-D510R, AH-D31OR, AH-C560R and AH-C260R) are compatible with the iPhone/iPod and the new iPad, and feature a specially designed three-button remote control/microphone that provides easy access to both voice and music control.

Sennheiser teams up with Adidas to release a range of bright yellow headphones for athletes. The new headphones are more resistant to sweat corrosion and physical damage, they can be washed, used in the rain, snow and up to -10 degrees celsius.

The collection ranges from £34.95 for the MX 680 in-ear headphones, to £59.95 for the CX 680 ear-canal headphones.
