The C430H and C430TH are the latest PMPs from Teclast. Both C430H and C430TH are similar but the screen, the C430TH comes with a LPTS screen 800x 480px in a 4.3-inch size. The devices feature a T8100 chip able to handle MP4 video in full HD, which supports AVI,RM,RMVB,FLV,WMV,MPG,3GP,VOB,DAT video files as well as MP3, WMA, FLAC and ACC audio files. They come equipped with infrared support for remote control as well as HDMI output. The new PMPs will be available in 4GB and 8GB capacities within 2010.

Originally spotted last summer, Samsung has finally announced pricing and availability for their Beat R1 portable media players. Measuring 8.9mm thick, and weighing just 50 grams, the R1 is smaller than the size of a credit card, yet it packs in a 2.6-inch LCD touch screen, a 50 hour battery life of audio, 4 hours for video, an FM radio and recorder, and bluetooth. The player features DivX support for video files, as well as Samsung's fantastic Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe) 3.0 sound enhancement technology. The player will be available in pink, black or silver color in April for $149.99 (8GB) and $179.99 (16GB).

Here is another upcoming HD-capable portable media player from ONN, the V8HD. The device comes equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD display with 16 million colors, an 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a voice recorder, an e-book reader, a picture viewer, a dual-channel speaker and a 2000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery that can last up to 35 hours of music playback or 10 hours of video playback. No to mention, the device also supports most multimedia file formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV as well as 720p HD video playback. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.

RAmos continues riding the High Definition (HD) wave with its latest portable media player, the T7+. This model does not only handle 720p but 1080p playback, it can also record 720p HD videos with the built-in camera. Other specifications include a 7-inch display at 800 x 480 resolution, HDMI out and support for a plethora of audio and video file formats, including MKV and H.264 for your viewing pleasure. There is no word on pricing or availability though, but don't expect it to break any records when it comes to its retail price.

Yinlips is set to drop their latest portable media player "X320" for the Chinese market. Featuring a 3.6-inch display, the device offers you the following features: an image viewer, an e-book reader, a radio tuner, a voice recorder, a game module and built-in speakers. Not to worry, it also supports a wide range multimedia file formats including MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, MPEG-4, AVI, RM, RMVB and FLV without any conversion. The X320 will become available in China later this month for unannounced price yet.

The Newsmy A16HD PMP features an HDMI output up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is become a standard for all new Chinese players now. The device supports HD movies, in various formats, including RMVB, AVI, FLV, DAT and VOB. The A16HD will come with 8 to 16GB of memory at a price of $100 to $130.

The new Vi20 from Onda will come equipped with a 5" 800 × 480 resolution LTPS touchscreen display, alongside 720p video playback support, compatibility with a wide range of audio and video formats, onboard storage as well as USB On The Go connectivity. Just in case you want to further augment its storage space, there is always a microSDHC memory card slot. No word on pricing yet.

Onda's VX530 is yet another portable media player in the market which sports a very different form factor since there are no buttons available on the front side. You do get support for full HD videos though, alongside compatibility with a wide range of video formats such as RMVB (RealVideo8/9/10), MKV (H.264), AVI, MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB, DAT and TS. There is no word on pricing or availability for the moment

There is a brand new portable media player from INS Mobile known as the iVIDI, where it sports a 3.3-inch WQVGA AMOLED display at 480 x 272 resolution, a microSD memory card slot, a FM radio, a T-DMB TV tuner to keep you entertained on-the-go, MP4 video support, Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated radio, an e-book reader function, a G-sensor with auto-rotation and QSound technology. Seems like a pretty little portable media player, but does the user interface work as well as what Apple users are familiar with?

Teclast just released in China its T56 MP4 player which feature a 4.3-inch 800 x 480px LTPS screen and a 600MHz ARM11 processor for video hardware decoding such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 SP, MPEG-4 ASP, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), DivX, H.263 and WMV9, VC-1, RV. The ARM11 also features 2D/3D graphics acceleration engine and a 1080p full-HD output. There is no word on pricing for the rest of us.
