The YP-S3 was officially announced yesterday by Samsung. At just 0.4 inches thick and 1.8 ounces, this slim MP4 player takes up only about the size of a standard business card holder featuring a 1.8-inch screen, MP3/WMA playback support, FM radio, voice recorder JPEG photo viewer, video player (MPEG4), text reader and compact game system. The built-in rechargeable Li-Poly battery can provide a near 25 hours of audio playback and up to 4 hours of video enjoyment.

The Samsung S3 Slim Portable Media Player with 4GB capacity will be available in June 2008 in a choice of five colors, including green, red, blue, and the classic black and white.

The 2021 DUO is yet another MP4 player with dual audio jack outputs from Energy Sistem. Like the 4000 DUO, this one comes with two pairs of headphones, but it has less memory (4GB). Also, it includes a 1.5" display, integrated FM tuner/recorder, and Support for XviD, MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, and TXT formats.

The Energy Sistem 2021 DUO will retail for €54.90 and comes with a 3-year warranty.

We got more information from Akihabaranews about what the new T50 will feature. The player will have a widescreen WQVGA display (430x 240px) with multi-touch screen technology, support for RM, RMVB, FLV, and AVI video files as well as FLAC, MP3, WMA. Also it seems to have an iPod-like GUI and the standard e-book reader function, voice recorder, and FM radio tuner.

Ramos goes sleek for its latest PMP, the V8. The player comes with a 4.3-inch touch screen display, RK2706 Rockchip chipset, TV output and could possibly have a built-in camera and motion sensor It will support AVI, DivX, MP4, RMVB, MP3, WMA and FLAC file formats. Some of these specs are just rumors at this time, so stay tuned.

Teclast releases a new player just about each week now, this week Teclast unveils the C300 Mp4 player which features native support for RM and RMVB media files while it also plays back MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC music and FLC, AVI video.

The C300 is equipped with a 2.8-inch QVGA screen (320x 240px), Rockchip 2706 chipset, voice recording capability, USB 2.0 connectivity, and it includes a JPG/GIF/BMP image browser. The Teclast's player comes with 2GB capacity in black or silver finish at 399 Chinese Yuan.

Oppo has launched the S9, its newest portable multimedia player. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT screen, SD card expansion slot, FM radio, voice recorder, and touch sensitive buttons. Also, it support a wide array of formats including MP3, WAV, WMA, APE, FLAC, AVI, AAC and RM files. This PMP is in stock at Ipmart for about $120.

Newsmy has recently announced the launch of its latest Momo X7 MP4 Player. This ultra-thin player is equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, Rockchip RK2706 chipset to achieve high-quality audio, an FM radio, and up to 4GB of flash memory. The Momo X7 is able to playback MP3, WMA and FLAC audio formats, on the other hand there is no information yet about what video formats it can handle.

Energy Sistem releases the Inngenio 4000 DUO HDP, this MP4 player stands out from the rest with two pairs earphones, two stereo outputs, Hi-Res QVGA TFT screen, built-in speaker and a Micro-SD cards slot. Also the Inngenio 4000 DUO HDP offers 6GB of memory, FM radio, and the support of MPEG-4 (XviD & AVI), MP3, WMA, WAV, JPG, BMP and TXT. Price is about €150.

KNC will release on May 1st the M-700 PMP commemorating the Ching Ming Festival. the player has a 2.3" widescreen, 4GB of storage, 400Mhz Rockchip RK2706 cual-core processor, and it plays RM, RMVB, FLV, DivX and XviD video formats. On the audio side, it supports APE, FLAC lossless and WMA, MP3 encoded files. Other features include Microsoft PLAYFX sound effect function, USB 2.0 connectivity and LRC lyrics support. No word on the price yet.

Chinese company OPPO has launched its new PMP called OPPO S11. It has a 3-inch touchscreen display with 480x 272px resolution, 4GB capacity, FM radio and video output. The S11 supports the playback of AVI, DVIX, RM, XVID, DMVB and FLV video formats as well as MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC and APE audio formats. But, the major point of this player is the motion sensing capability like the Wii remote for playing one of the three included games.

The player measures 95x 58x 9.9mm, weighs 92g and it's available for about $150.
