Sigmatek is one of the first to introduce a MP4 player with built-in DVB-T tuner (TNT) in Europe. The Sigmatek SHD-7100 player features an impressive 4.3" widescreen display (480×272px), touch sensitive buttons, FM radio, 1GB capacity which can be extended with the SD memory card slot, and it supports MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV audio codecs and AVI, WMV9 video. No price or release date at the moment.

Ramos has recently announced the RM965, a MP4 player with 2.8" widescreen display (400x 240px) using SigmaTel 3710 chip with the ability to playback RM/RMVB, AVI, and FLV video as well as APE and Flac lossless audio formats in addtion of MP3 files. Other specifications as well as price have not yet been revealed.

After the VX757, Onda comes back with the VX767 MP4 player. it has a large widescreen display (480x 272px), FM radio, 400MHz processor, TV out and a SD card slot up to 32Gb card. The players also offers support for MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC audio formats, FLV, AVI, MOV, ASF, MP4, WMV, 3GP, MPG video formats and picture files including JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG. The internal battery can last 40 hours for audio playback and 10 hours while playing video.

There is no word on the VX767 availability or about its price yet.

IPmart introduces the latest V80 personal media player from Ramos which runs on WinCE 6.0 and includes a lot of features such as a 2.8" touch screen LCD (320x240 pixels), built-in 1.3MP camera, USB 2.0 connectivity and a microSD expansion slot. Also the Ramos' player supports MP3/WMA/WAV/OGG/FLAC/AC3 music formats, and AVI/ASF/MPG/3GP/MP4/FLV (320x240 at 25fps Max.) video formats.

The 2GB models comes for $133.83 at IPmart.

The Soundstream MP28 is another iPod Touch clone with a pretty similar design, it comes in 2Gb or 4GB capacity and features a 2.8" color touch screen, FM radio, JPEG & GIF photo browser, voice recorder, built-in speaker and a mini SD card slot. The MP28 supports MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and APE audio playback as well as MP4, DIVX, XVIDV, AVI, and MTV video files with USB 2.0 PC syncing. No word on pricing yet.

Now that they have stopped their instant cameras, Polaroid become diversified with the Freescape 4360 portable multimedia player (aka MPU-43315B). The PMP is equipped with a 4.3" widescreen color LCD (480x 272px), 2.5" 60GB HDD, 802.11B/G WiFi technology, FM tuner, TV out, and a lithium-ion battery up to 16 hours of audio playback or 4 hours of video playback. It plays back MP3, WMA and WAV audio files, as well as MPEG4 and WMV video files, however, there is no support for DivX codec...

Energy Sistem has released a new digital audio player, the Inngenio 6000. It incorporates a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory expandable via a microSD memory card slot, FM radio tuner, voice recorder, built-in speaker, an e-book reader and games along with support for MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, BMP and Xvid playback. The Inngenio 6000 measures 91x 52x 9mm, weighs approximately 90g and is available in Spain for 89.90€.

Coby unveiled at the Cebit 08, the MP735 portable media player. This could be a potential competitor for the Samsung YP-S5 because the MP735 incorporates, hidden right behind the player, swiveling-type stereo speakers. Also it has a 1.66-inch display and touch-sensitive controls and it includes a FM tuner, voice recorder, video and photo capabilities.

Price will be about $120 for the 4GB model.

MPIO will release soon the V10 media player featuring a brushed aluminium enclosure, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display (480× 272px) and 8GB of internal memory expandable with a SD-card slot. Other features include a built-in FM tuner and a TV output. The player is running Windows CE 5.0 Core and plays back just about anything including AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, DAT, DivX, VOB, TS, and MPEG video files as well as MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, and PCM audio files.

No price or release date have been published at the moment.

Teclast officially announced its latest M25 PMP in China. It boasts the famous Wolfson WM8987 and Rockchips 2706 chips, a QVGA 2.4-inch LCD screen (320x 240), AVI, RM, RMVB video support along with MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, AAC audio and it offers a built-in FM tuner. The Teclast's player is pretty small, it measures only 87× 47x 7.9mm and features a new "iPod-alike" rotary knob.

The M25 will be available in 2GB, 4Gb and 8GB capacities in black or white finish for a price below 100 dollars.
