Philips' claims that its new SHB9000 headset delivers the best-ever music and conversation quality from mobile phones, I'm not sure though... However if it doesn't sound good, it looks good. Equipped with a pair of 40mm neodymium speakers, these headphones use the latest digital technologies such as dynamically enhancing treble, stereo effects and native MP3 decoding. The wireless headset delivers enhanced call quality through a digital signal processor that automatically adjusts volume in response to outside noise and filters out background noise and echo. Furthermore the SHB9000 incorporates Philips' SwitchStream allowing listeners to automatically move between music and incoming calls. It will cost approximately $100 and will be available this spring.
